5 Recipes To Level Up Your Paskong Pinoy

1. Baked Spaghetti

Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients:

2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 head Garlic, Minced
1 pc Onion, Minced
½ kg Freshly Ground Pork
½ kg Hotdog, Sliced
1 cup Tomato Sauce
1 cup Banana Catsup
1 cup Water
1 sachet 8g MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
1 packet 250mL NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream
6 tbsp Brown Sugar
½ cup Spaghetti Pasta, Cooked According To Pack Instructions
¾ cup Grated Melting Cheese

Procedure:

  1. Sauté garlic, onion ground pork, and hotdog in oil. Pour tomato sauce, banana catsup, and water. Simmer and season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap® and brown sugar. Set aside.
  2. Boil spaghetti in lightly salted water for 8 minutes.
  3. Strain and toss spaghetti in sauce. Transfer on a baking dish. Drizzle NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream and top with cheese.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven until cheese has melted and slightly browned. Set aside for 10 minutes and serve.

NOTE: Ground pork and hotdog may be replaced with freshly ground chicken.

 

2. Baked Salmon

Baked Salmon

Ingredients:

500 grams skinless salmot fillet
1 ½ sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cups corn, carrot, and green peas mixture
1 packet NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream
2 cloves garlic
2 bar melting cheese
1 tablespoon minced parsley
1 piece lemon, cut into wedges

Procedure:

  1. Season salmon with 1 sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Sear in a preheated pan with vegetable oil. Remove salmon and set aside.
  2. Add corn, carrot and green peas mixture in the same pan. Season with ¼ sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Cook for 1 minute. Transfer on a baking tray. Place salmon on top of the vegetables.
  3. Mix NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, chilled, garlic, remaining ¼ sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®, cheese and parsley. Spread on top of the salmon. Bake in an oven toaster for 5 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  4. Remove from the oven toaster and serve with lemon.


 

3. Baked Macaroni

Baked Macaroni

Ingredients:

2 tbsp vegetable oil
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 piece onion, minced
250 grams freshly ground pork
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup banana catsup
1 cup water
2 sachets MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
2 tbsp brown sugar
400 grams elbow macaroni
1 piece NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
4 tbsp grated cheese

Procedure:

  1. Sauté garlic and onion in oil. Add ground pork and cook for 5 minutes. Pour tomato sauce, catsup and water, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap® and brown sugar.
  2. Boil macaroni according to package direction. Strain macaroni and toss in the sauce. Transfer into a baking dish.
  3. Pour NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream and grate cheese on top. Bake in an oven or toaster until the top is golden brown. Serve warm.

 

4. Creamy Nacho Bake

Creamy Nacho Bake

Ingredients:

2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 piece onion, minced
500 grams freshly ground pork
1 tsp spanish paprika
½ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp chili powder
1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
¼ freshly ground pepper
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp brown sugar
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp annatto seeds
1 packet NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
3 tbsp melting cheese, grated
1 tsp MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
¼ tsp ground nutmeg (optional)
3 tbsp melting cheese
4 pcs tomatoes, diced
1 piece red onion, diced
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
2 tbsp sliced spring onion
1 container nachos chips

Procedure:

  1. Sauté garlic, onion and ground beef in oil for 10 minutes.
  2. Add paprika, cumin, chili powder, MAGGI® Magic Sarap®, pepper, tomato paste and sugar. Cook for 5 minutes. Transfer in a baking container, press down and set aside.
  3. Combine butter and annatto seed in a saucepan. Gently heat for 2 minutes. Strain and discard annatto seeds. Stir in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream and cheese. Gently heat for 2 minutes while mixing.
  4. Season with 1 tsp of MAGGI® Magic Sarap® and nutmeg. Pour on top of ground beef mixture.
  5. Grate cheese on top. Bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  6. Meanwhile, combine tomato, onion, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and spring onion. Mix well.
  7. Remove Nacho Bake from the oven. Serve warm with salsa and nacho chips.

 

5. Creamy Sushi Bake

Creamy Sushi Bake

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups of water
2 tbsp mirin
1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
1 packet NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
¼ cup mayonnaise (preferably Japanese mayonnaise)
1 cup shredded crabsticks
3 tbsp melting cheese
2 tbsp sriracha hot sauce
1 stalk scallion, sliced
6 pcs nori sheets, cut each sheet into 4

Procedure:

  1. Fluff cooked rice into a bowl. Add mirin and MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Mix well and lightly press into a baking tray.
  2. Combine NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, mayonnaise and shredded crab sticks. Spread on top of the rice.
  3. Grate cheese on top and bake in an oven toaster for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. Drizzle hot sauce on top. Top with scallion and serve with nori sheets.
