NESTLÉ STATEMENT ON SEIZED FAKE MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
October 20, 2017
The enforcement operations described in the Facebook post happened way back in July 2015, when the CIDG, ably assisted by local Talavera police, raided a residence-cum-warehouse in Talavera, Nueva Ecija, seizing fake MAGGI MAGIC SARAP, along with other fake products.
We thank the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Anti Fraud and Commercial Crimes Division of the Philippine National Police (CIDG-PNP) for stepping up efforts to stop the illegal operations of counterfeiters in the country, including the recent raids of counterfeit warehouses that effectively prevented fake products from reaching the market and the consumers. Since the July 2015 raid, the police raids have effectively reduced the incidence of fake MAGGI MAGIC SARAP in some places where they have been reported.
The safety and quality of our products and the welfare of our consumers are non-negotiable priorities for us at Nestlé. We at Nestlé take this matter very seriously and we will continue to work closely with the authorities to curb counterfeiting and protect our consumers from illegal operators who manufacture and sell fake Nestlé products.
Rest assured that you can continue to buy your favorite MAGGI MAGIC SARAP from reputable supermarkets and grocery stores and from your trusted suki in your neighborhood palengkes.
