1 pc large red onion, cut into rings
2 tbsp vegetable oil
½ kg sliced pork shoulder (kasim)
1 sachet 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
4 cloves garlic, crushed
3 tbsp soy sauce
¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup water
2 tbsp calamansi juice
Sauté onion in oil. Remove and set aside.
Sauté garlic in the same pan. Add pork, soy sauce, pepper sugar and water. Cover and simmer until tender.
Stir in calamansi juice and simmer uncovered for another 10 minutes. Transfer into a serving plate and garnish with sautéed onion.
Season pork with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®. Sauté in oil and set aside.
