  • ½ cup preferred dipping sauce
  • 1 kg large shrimp, peeled tail on and deveined
  • 1 sachet 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
  • 1 tsp baking powder As needed iced water
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 8 cups vegetable oil, for deep frying
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 pc large egg, beaten
Step 1
Prepare batter by whisking flour, baking powder, egg and iced water to make into pancake batter consistency.
Step 2
Season shrimp with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP® lightly coat with flour and dip in batter while holding the tail end.
Step 3
Carefully drop in a preheated oil and fry until light golden brown. Drain excess oil. Transfer on a serving plate and serve with preferred dipping sauce.
