½ kg fish fillet, cut into pieces
1 sachet 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
½ cup all purpose flour
2 cup vegetable oil
½ kg firm tofu or tokwa, sliced
1 head garlic, minced
1 thumb-size ginger, cut into strips
1 pc small onion, cut into strips
1 cup water
6 tbsp MAGGI® Oyster Sauce
¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tbsp water
Season fish with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®, coat with flour and fry in oil. Remove and set aside. Fry tofu in the same oil until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Remove oil from the pan leaving 2 tbsp. Sauté garlic, ginger and onion. Pour water and add MAGGI® Oyster Sauce and pepper. Stir in cornstarch and water mixture to thicken the sauce.
Toss in fish and tofu. Transfer into a serving plate and serve immediately.
