Nestle Recipe
  • 1 ¼ cups cold water
  • 100 g small shrimps
  • ½ cup spiced vinegar
  • 1 sachet 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups shredded kalabasa, squeeze water out using a clean kitchen towel
  • 4 cups vegetable oil for deep frying
  • 1 pc egg, beaten
Step 1
Mix cornstarch, flour, MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®, baking powder and the cold water to make a smooth batter.
Step 2
Stir in beaten egg and add kalabasa and shrimp.
Step 3
Carefully drop 1 large spoonful of the mixture in preheated oil and deep fry until golden brown. Drain excess oil and serve with spiced vinegar.
