  • 2 sachets 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 pc bay leaves
  • ½ cup canned chick peas (garbanzos), rinsed
  • 1 kg beef shank (bulalo)
  • ¼ cup whole pitted green olives
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup grated keso de bola
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 pc onion, chopped
  • 1 pc red bell peppers, cut into strips
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1pc carrot, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Step 1
Simmer beef in pineapple juice and water with onion and peppercorn in a pot until tender. Add water as needed. Skim off the fat as needed.
Step 2
Fry potato and carrot in oil until golden brown, strain and set aside.
Step 3
Pour tomato sauce in the pot. Add liver spread, pickle relish, fried potato and carrot. Add coconut milk, chili and sugar. Simmer until thick. Transfer on a serving plate and serve.
