  • 2 thumb-size ginger, julienned
  • 1 cup 2-inch pieces sitaw
  • 1 cup tamarind leaves, rinsed and chopped
  • 2 pcs green and red finger chili
  • 1 pack 22g MAGGI® MAGIC SINIGANG® Original Sampaloc Mix
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 pc onion, large diced
  • 2 pcs tomato, large diced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 pc whole chicken, cut into 10 pieces
Step 1
Heat oil in a pot and sauté onion, tomato, ginger and finger chili for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add chicken and fish sauce. Cover and cook for 10 minutes while stirring every few minutes.
Step 3
Pour water, bring to a boil and skim the scum. Stir in tamarind leaves and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Add sitaw and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in MAGGI® MAGIC SINIGANG®. Transfer into and serving bowl and serve.
