Nestle Recipe
  • 1 stalk scallions, biased
  • 2 thumb-size ginger, crushed
  • 2 tbsp soy souce
  • ¾ kg snapper (maya-maya), cleaned and scored
  • 3 sprigs wansoy
  • 1 sachet 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 pc small onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
Step 1
Season snapper with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®. Stuff with lemongrass, ginger, onion and garlic.
Step 2
Place in a plate and cook in a steamer for 10 – 15 minutes. Remove from the steamer and set aside to rest. Reserve liquid and aromatic vegetables.
Step 3
Combine water, soy souce, reserved aromatic vegetables and liquid from fish in a pot. Simmer until slightly thick. Strain into another pan and add sesame oil. Pour sauce on the fish and garnish with wansuy and scallions. Serve immediately.
