Nestle Recipe
  • ½ kg boneless chicken thigh, cut into pieces
  • 2 sachets 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 pc red onion, diced
  • 1 small can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 pc small red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 pc green bell pepper, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¼ cup banana catsup
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tbsp water
Step 1
Season chicken with 1 sachet of MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®. Coat well with flour and fry in oil until golden brown. Strain and set aside.
Step 2
Remove oil from the pan leaving 1 tbsp and sauté red onion, pineapple chunks, red and green bell pepper. Remove and set aside.
Step 3
Sauté garlic in the same pan. Add vinegar, sugar, water and banana catsup. Simmer and season with remaining 1 sachet of MAGGI MAGIC Chicken®. Stir in cornstarch and water mixture to thicken sauce.
Step 4
Toss in chicken and sautéed onion, pineapple and bell peppers. Transfer into a serving plate and serve.
