1. Season pork with 1 sachet of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP® and set aside.
2. Sauté potato, carrot and saba in 2 tbsp of oil until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wide pot. Add pork, lightly sear and set aside. Sauté garlic, onion and chorizo and bay leaf in the same pot. Pour tomato sauce, water, seared pork, chickpeas, sugar and pepper. Bring to a boil, skim the scum and simmer for 45 minutes.
4. Add sautéed potato, carrot and saging na saba. Season with 2 sachets of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP® and simmer for another 10 minutes. Transfer into a serving bowl and top with green beans, pechay and cabbage. Pour soup and serve hot.

1/2 kg pork belly, cut into 2-inch pieces
3 sachets MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 pc medium potato, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 pc medium carrot, cut into 1-inch pieces
3 pcs saba, cut into 3 pieces each
1 head garlic, minced
1 pc onion, small diced
1 pc chorizo, cut into 1-inch bias
1 pc bay leaf
1 cup tomato sauce
3 cups water
1 cup canned chick peas, drained and rinsed
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
1 cup 2-inch pieces green beans, blanched
1 bundle pechay, rinsed and blanched
1 head small cabbage, cut into bite-size pieces and blanched
