After a big celebration, what can you do with the leftover lechon? A smart mom knows how to reuse this favorite dish and turn it into Paksiw na Baboy!
1. Sauté saging na saba in oil until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
2. Combine pork liempo, vinegar, water, garlic, brown sugar, banana blossoms, bay leaf, MAGGI® SOY COOKING & SEASONING SAUCE and MAGGI® Oyster Sauce in a pot. Cover and simmer for 1 ½ hours.
3. Remove cover and continue to simmer until tender and sauce is reduced. Stir in sautéed saging na saba. Transfer into as serving plate and serve.
The fat helps keep the meat juicy and flavorful. Just like any other food, it should be consumed in moderation.

1 cup water
2 heads garlic, crushed
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup banana blossoms
