The different flavors in this dish complement the Steamed Whole Fish without being too heavy. Try it for dinner!
1. Season snapper with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®. Stuff with lemongrass, ginger, onion and garlic.
2. Place in a plate and cook in a steamer for 10 – 15 minutes. Remove from the steamer and set aside to rest. Reserve liquid and aromatic vegetables.
3. Combine water, MAGGI® Soy Sauce, reserved aromatic vegetables and liquid from fish in a pot. Bring to simmer and cook until slightly thick. Strain into another pan and finish with sesame oil. Pour sauce on the fish and garnish with wansuy and scallions. Serve immediately.
Steaming is considered a healthy cooking method. Why? Because it helps you reduce your total fat intake since you do not need to add oil to cook.
