Explore the flavors of India through this Easy Chicken Biryani! This is a unique take on the usual rice side dish.
1. Marinate chicken with 1 sachet of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®, pepper, curry powder and Nestlé yogurt overnight in the refrigerator.2.
2. Melt 2 tbsp of butter in a pan and sauté chicken until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
3. Melt the rest of the butter and sauté garlic, ginger, onion, curry powder and bay leaf. Add rice and continue to sauté for 2 minutes. Pour water and season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®. Add chicken, cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
4. Turn off heat and set aside to rest for another 15 minutes. Garnish with cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
Biryani is an Indian mixed rice. It is usually composed of rice, meat, vegetables, yogurt and spices.

1/2 kg boneless chicken thigh, cut into 2- inch pieces
1 sachet 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
3 tsp curry powder
1/4 cup Nestlé yogurt
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 head garlic, minced
1 pc thumb-size ginger, minced
1 pc onion, small diced
1 pc bay leaf
1/2 kg long grain rice, rinse and drained well
3 cups water
2 sachets MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
1 pc lime, cut into wedges
