Creamy Beef and Mushroom

Add a bit of cream to bring that comforting dimension to your beef dish!

INGREDIENTS

3/4 kg thinly sliced beef
2 sachets 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
2 tbsp MAGGI® Soy Cooking and Seasoning Sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp freshly ground pepper
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 cup butter
1 head garlic, mashed
1 pc large onion, julienned
2 cups canned whole button mushroom, halved and rinsed well
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups water
1 pc 250ml tetra pack Nestlé All Purpose Cream
1 tbsp minced parsley

Directions

1. Season beef with 1 sachet of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®, MAGGI Soy Cooking and Seasoning Sauce, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Coat with oil and set aside.

2. Preheat a large pan and sear beef in several batches for 1 minute. Sear the rest of the beef and set aside.

3. Melt butter in the same pan and sauté garlic, onion and mushroom for 2 minutes. Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in water and bring to a simmer. Add beef and season with remaining sachet of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®.

4. Pour Nestlé All Purpose Cream, turn off heat and stir in the parsley. Transfer into a serving plate and serve immediately.

GOOD TO KNOW:

To achieve smooth and creamy consistency, add the cream towards the end of cooking and do not boil.
