Love Bistek? You can prepare Pork the same way for a twist!

INGREDIENTS

3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 pc large red onion, cut into rings
1/2 kg pork shoulder, thinly sliced
1 sachet MAGGI MAGIC PORKMAGGI MAGIC PORK®
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
3 tbsp MAGGI® SOY COOKING & SEASONING SAUCE
4 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp calamansi juice
1 cup water

Directions

1. Sauté onion in 1 tbsp of vegetable oil until light golden brown. Set aside.

2. Season pork with MAGGI MAGIC Pork and pepper. Sear pork in batches until golden brown and set aside.

3. Add oil and sauté garlic in the same pan. Add seared pork, MAGGI Soy Sauce, sugar, calamansi juice and water. Cover with water and simmer for 45 minutes or until tender. Remove cover and continue to simmer until sauce is slightly thick.

4. Transfer into a serving plate and garnish with sautéed onion.
