Tortang Talong Patties

Who says burgers are not healthy? Try this delicious and nutritious vegetable sandwich recipe.

INGREDIENTS

4 pcs large eggplant
1/4 kg freshly ground pork
2 tbsp minced onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp sliced spring onion
1 sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
2 tbsp vegetable oil
6 pcs sliced cheese
6 pcs large pan de sal

Directions

1. Pierce eggplant with a fork and roast over open flame until charred. Set aside in a bowl and cover. Once cooled, peel off charred skin and coarsely chop.

2. Combine eggplant, ground pork, onion, garlic and spring onion. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®. Mix well and for into 6 equal patties.

3. Pan fry patties in oil until golden brown. Place cheese on top. Toast pan de sal and assemble with patties. Serve immediately.

GOOD TO KNOW:

Add other accompaniments like slices of tomato, cucumber, lettuce or coleslaw.
