Fish with Tomato Creamy Ginger Sauce

The creaminess of the ginger sauce adds the delicious juxtaposition to the tanginess of the tomatoes

INGREDIENTS

2-3 pcs whole pampano or slices of lapu-lapu
2 tbsp MAGGI® Savor Classic
2 tbsp cooking oil for frying
2-3 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp ginger, sliced
1 tbsp coriander seeds, crushed
2 tbsp garlic, chopped
1/4 tsp balsamic vinegar
1-2 tsp MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup NESTLÉ® Cream
1/4 cup wansuy, chopped

Directions

1.   Drizzle fish with MAGGI® SAVOR. Set aside to marinate for at least 5 minutes.

2.   Heat cooking oil for frying and fry prepared fish. Transfer on a plate and allow to rest.

3.   In another pan, heat sesame oil. Stir-fry ginger, coriander seeds and garlic until fragrant.

4.   Dilute with vinegar and allow to boil without stirring. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®, honey and tomato paste. Pour in water. Allow to reduce while stirring for another 3 minutes. Slowly add in the cream. Remove from heat.

 5  Pour on top of prepared fish and garnish with wansuy before serving.
