Combine chicken, MAGGI® Oyster Sauce, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, water, peppercorn and bay leaves in a pot. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Strain chicken and set aside.

I love the dish.... but I think you forgot to include soy sauce in the ingredient list. The cooked dish is dark, so that means soy sauce was included in the dish. If not soy sauce, then why is the sauce dark? thanks.
