Nestle Recipe
  • 1 thumb-size ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp sliced spring onion
  • 1 tbsp Korean pepper paste
  • 1 kg chicken legs
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 sachet MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
  • 1 pc small onion, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
Step 1
Season chicken with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP® and pepper. Coat with flour and fry until golden brown. Strain and set aside.
Step 3
Toss in fried chicken pieces. Transfer on a serving plate. Top with sesame seeds and spring onion. Serve immediately.
Step 2
Remove oil from the wok leaving 2 tbsp. Sauté garlic, onion, ginger, and Korean pepper paste. Add soy sauce, water and sugar. Simmer until thick.
