  • 1 kg live female mud crab (alimango)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ thumb-size ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili paste
  • ¼ cup tomato catsup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 sachet 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1 pc egg, beaten
  • 1 stalk scallion, sliced
Step 1
Simmer crabs in a little water to pan steam for 5 minutes. Drain and quickly rinse. Separate the shell and the claws from the body. Remove and discard the gills and apron. Cut the body into 4 serving pieces. Crack the claws.
Step 2
Sauté garlic, ginger and chili paste in butter. Add catsup, sugar and water. Season with sachet of MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP® and pepper.
Step 3
Add the crabs and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in beaten egg and add scallions. Transfer on a serving plate and serve.
