  • Step1

    5 Min
    Rinse basmati rice twice. Soak in water and set aside for 45mins while preparing the rest of the ingredients.
  • Step2

    2 Min
    Sauté cinnamon, bay leaves, star anise, cardamom, mace, dried chili, coriander seeds in a pot with oil for 1min. Add biryani masala and sauté for another minute.
  • Step3

    3 Min
    Mix half of coriander and half of mint leaves with pepper, cloves, red chili, finger chili, garlic and ginger. Add to the pot with the spices and cook for 1min. Add onion and tomato and cook for another 2mins.

    10 Min
    Crumble 1 pc MAGGI® Magic Chicken Cube to season chicken. Add in the pot to cook for 5mins.

    Pour water. Combine NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream and lemongrass. Stir in the pot and simmer.

    Drain basmati rice add to the pot. Crumble the remaining MAGGI® Magic Chicken Cube and add lemon zest. Gently stir, cover and cook over low heat for 30mins. Turn off heat and set aside for 15mins.

    Fluff rice and transfer into a serving plate. Top with remaining coriander and mint leaves. Serve warm.
