Nestle Recipe
  • 4 pcs saging na saba, halved
  • 1 tsp black peppercorn
  • 1 sachet 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 kg sliced pork hocks (pata)
  • 1 pc bay leaf
  • ¼ cup banana blossom
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • 1 head garlic, crushed
Step 1
Sauté saging na saba in 2 tbsp of oil. Remove and set aside.
Step 2
Sauté pork and garlic in remaining oil. Add vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, bay leaf, peppercorn and banana blossom . Pour water to barely cover pork. Simmer until tender.
Step 3
Add saba and simmer for another 5 minutes. Season withMAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®. Transfer into a serving plate and serve.
